Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures during Sophie's visit, but we managed to snap some quick photos before heading out one night. The title is just a joke really, because I hashtagged a picture I posted of us on Instagram with #teameurasian, since we both happen to be half European half Asian. Considered #bestofbothworlds but decided against as this seemed a bit too much. Anyways, it was a great pleasure having her as a guest! Haven't had a proper sleepover in a while, so it was fun staying up late (I usually go to bed around 11PM, very uncool) chatting about girly nonsensical things and issues, as one usually does during slumber parties. Other than that, we went on a "cruise" through Lysefjorden, Sophie shopped a bit/lot while I complained about the quality of the clothes, went to a rave with way too spaced out music, introduced her to traditional Norwegian Christmas food, enjoyed wearing heels together as we're both over 170cm and I taught her one of my favourite dance moves.Overall, I'd say the visit was a success, and hopefully I managed to leave her with an impression of Norway as a more fun and happening country than I usually let on.

Helo there,
I don't usually leave comment on blogs, but I'll make this an exception. Believe it or not, I just spent the last four hours reading all your blog entries, and I must say that this is one of the interesting blogs I've ever come across. Well-written entries and beautiful photos, what's not to like, eh?
Btw, I think you have a great sense of style too. Keep it up and I shall look forward to your next entry :)
What an incredibly sweet thing to say (: Thank you very much! And thanks for taking the time to comment as well (:
Nice blog. Are you and your family Christians?
Thank you! No, we're not a religious family.
No problem. How is it like living in Norway? Isn't it cold there? In Norway things (like fresh food and living costs) are supposedly really expensive too and taxes are sky-high though the living environment is great and public services are modern. That's just what I heard. What's your take on that since you're living there?
Living in Norway is great, if you overlook the weather. You're right about the high living cost, but since our average income is generally quite high, we've got a high standard of living as well. Our sky high taxes is a part of that, as it's returned to us in the form of fringe benefits, such as free education, free/cheap medical services, etc. Despite complaining about it all the time, I'm very proud of my country!
I see. I wonder how icy Norway compares to sunny Singapore. Would you prefer living there instead of Europe? I imagine Singapore, being an Asian nation, is cheaper to live in and over there you get to hear a lot more Mandarin than in Scandinavia!
